Ottica Giulianelli nasce a Ferrara nel 1914 con Alberto Giulianelli, storico fotografo ferrarese, che negli anni Cinquanta lascia al figlio Giorgio il compito di sviluppare il settore ottico. Giorgio è stato riconosciuto Master in Ottica nel 1982 dopo trent'anni di attività. Nello stesso anno viene raggiunto da Giampiero, nipote di Alberto. Dopo alcuni anni ha ereditato la gestione del negozio e recentemente ha rinnovato l'intera struttura, sostenendo anche un nuovo negozio dedicato e specializzato per bambini con problemi di vista. Oggi lavora in sinergia con altri due ottici optometristi e alcuni collaboratori.
